Counselling London Bridge SE1 and Counsellor Covent Garden WC2 - EFT Central London

During this time of lock down I am working online for people suffering from issues of depression, isolation, anxiety and general worries. I work with a combination of talking therapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or 'Tapping'. This technique is something I can teach you to manage uncomfortable or overwhelming emotions. Please feel welcome to contact me for a free no obligation chat to see if I can be of help to you.

I specialise working with people who have grown up in dysfunctional families especially where alcohol or drug dependency was prevalent. As adults we are more likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, fear, co-dependency. We also learn survival skills such as OCD and self-medicate with the drugs of our choice including food and sex.

In our sessions we will explore the issues you bring with no judgement made and look at the ways we can alleviate heavy emotional states with talking therapy and energy work. I am a firm believer in giving clients resources that they can use every day. I also work towards clients having a very good understanding of how to take care of themselves by the time our sessions come to an end. Life does not stop challenging us but the way we meet those challenges can make things less bleak and miserable and much less of a drama. It is possible to reach a place that is compassionate and peaceful in our relationships with ourselves and others.

Initial session

Please feel free to contact me and we can arrange a free 15-minute chat on the phone, and I can give you an idea of how we might work together. If you are happy to continue, we can arrange an initial consultation to speak about what you would like help with, in more detail. I might typically suggest having 6 weekly sessions and then reviewing progress.

I list below some of the issues clients bring to our sessions

  • Abandoned child, Anger, Anxiety, Fear, Loneliness
  • Lost in Codependent relationships, reacting aggressively to triggers
  • Fear of Rejection, Loss, OCD, Lack of Confidence, Low Self-esteem
  • Social media, checking phone, feelings of anxiety and not good enough
  • Self-harm, Trauma, Phobias and Sexual abuse
  • Finding it difficult to cope at work due to stress

If you would like to come and have an initial session to see if we could work together please feel free to call me on 0794 707 1908.

    “Being abandoned through the neglect
    of our developmental dependency
needs is the major factor in becoming an adult child.

We grow up; we look like adults. We walk and talk like adults,
    but beneath the surface
is a little child who feels empty and needy,
a child whose needs are insatiable because
he has a child’s needs in an adult body.

This insatiable child is the core of all compulsive/addictive behavior.”

― John Bradshaw, Healing the Shame that Binds You
